Bamboo Capital Group giving away 50,000 medical masks in Long An, Vinh Long, and Quang Nam provinces

(BCG) In order to proactively prevent the disease of acute pneumonia caused by the new corona virus (2019-nCov) which is becoming more and more serious and complicated. On the morning of February 6, 2020, Bamboo Capital Group and its subsidiaries have launched “Bamboo Capital Group join hands for public health” program to give away over 50,000 medical masks for the people of Long An, Vinh Long and Quang Nam.

Facing the increasing complexity of acute pneumonia and corona virus specifically, using medical masks is one of the most effective ways to prevent the disease for yourself and avoid it spreading to others.

In order to help the community to cope with the global epidemic, Bamboo Capital Group has provided free medical masks to impoverished people in Long An, Vinh Long and Quang Nam. Early morning of February 6, 2020, the Group’s employees were present at 6 places: Solar Power Plant BCG – CME Long An 1 Office (Thanh Hoa and Long An districts), People’s Committees of An Thanh and Huu Thanh communes (these two communes are located at both ends of BOT DT830 station, Long An), Ngoc Thien Vihara (Vinh Long), Amor Garden project and Malibu Hoi An project (Quang Nam province). With the spirit of voluntary and enthusiastic in joining the program of BCG family, more than 50,000 medical masks were given away within a few hours.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam – Chairman of Bamboo Capital Group issued a notice on the implementation of prevention and control of nCoV disease. The goal is having no virus infected employees and always ensuring the Group’s continuous business activities. In addition, employees are equipped with medical masks and handwashing gel at work to protect personal health as well as public health.

With the spirit of solidarity, sharing with the community, BCG always dedicates a part of our budget to charity activities. This is seen as a moral tradition expressed through a lot of social activities throughout the year.
