ANTRACO hands over scholarships worth a total of VND 250 million

(TCD) For the beginning of the Academic Year 2017/2018, Antraco on 17th August 2017 handed over 153 scholarships worth a total of VND 250 million to outstanding students with their economic disadvantage in Tri Ton District, An Giang province.

To share the responsibilities with Government and state provinces, Antraco sponsors scholarships for poor students with good academic records to stay in schools, as a part of Antraco’s social responsibility activities.

"This is the second consecutive year that Antraco granted over scholarships to poor students in Tri Ton District. This is a very meaningful activity to help and encourage poor and meritorious students pursue higher studies,” Mr. Quach Kim Long - Director of Antraco said “Through the Antraco scholarship program, it is considered as our social responsibility to contribute to the community for education development”.

Mr. Quach Kim Long, Director of Antraco (in the left) received the Medal and Certificate of Merit from Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) . 

Antraco is a domestic Joint Venture between TRACODI Co., Ltd and An Giang Mechanical Enterprise specializes in mining and processing most of construction stones in the Mekong Delta area. In the first six months of 2017, its Profit After Tax reached 17 billion VND, achieving 54% of its target for 2017. Annually, Antraco uses a portion of profits for social activities such as providing scholarships, building charity houses, building rural bridges and roads, etc.
